Owned and operated by the Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority,
the Louisiana Regional Airport first opened in May 1992. Assisted in progress by
the Federal Aviation Administration, the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation
and Development and the Parishes of Ascension and St. James, Louisiana Regional Airport
is a thriving general aviation facility.
